10.00am Depart Collins Park Fox St Wagga Wagga and travel to Melbourne. Here we board the Spirit of Tasmania for the journey across Bass Strait.

Devonport to Scamander
We begin our journey through Tasmania by heading towards St Helens. Along the way we visit Sheffield the town of murals, Deloraine Yarns Silk Hangings, and Woolmers National Rose Garden and Estate before arriving at St Helens.

Scamander Region
Today we have a relaxing day trip to Campbell Town & Ross before returning to Scamander.

Scamander to Eaglehawk Neck
We continue travelling along the Tasman Highway, stopping at Swansea for morning tea at the park, then onto Orford convict trail and Buckland Historic Church. We visit Historical Richmond where we will have time for lunch.

Eaglehawk Neck to Hobart
We arrive at Port Arthur for a cruise on the ferry, around the Harbour passing the Isle of the Dead and many other features followed by a guided tour of Port Arthur. Then onto Hobart.

Friday 1st March 2019
Hobart
Breakfast at motel before departing for the Huon Valley, Tasmanian’s premier apple region. Travelling via Kingston, Margate, Middleton onto Franklin and visiting the Wooden Boat Centre.
Spend the afternoon exploring more of this region before heading back to the accommodation.

Starting today with a visit to the Salamanca Markets, then you will have time to explore Hobart at your own leisure.

Sunday 3rd March 2019
Hobart to Queenstown
This morning we spend our time in Hobart admiring the Botanical Gardens. Then departing Hobart, we travel via New Norfolk, Tarraleah and traveling onto Derwent Bridge, stopping for lunch (own expense). This afternoon we travel via Nelson River Falls to Queenstown for the night.

Monday 4th March 2019
Strahan
Early start this morning for Strahan.  At Strahan we enjoy a Harbour cruise including Hells Gate, trout farms and Sarah Island. A Buffet lunch is provided on the Boat. Taking time to browse Strahan before returning to Queenstown.

Queenstown to Burnie
Travelling via Tullah, we visit Cradle Mountain where you can take a short rainforest walk or just take in the beautiful scenery. We visit Dove Lake (weather permitting)

North West tip of Tasmania
Our travel today includes a stop at Smithton where we are joined by our guide for the Woolnorth Tour including a BBQ lunch before returning to Somerset.

Thursday 7th March 2019
Burnie to Launceston
This morning we visit the Makers workshop where you can indulge in tasting Tasmanian Brie, True & Deep Blue, Camembert, Mersey Valley, Swiss, Gouda, Cream Cheese, Red Square and more before travelling to Launceston.
We visit the Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden Burnie.
This afternoon we visit the Grindelwald Swiss Village.
Tonight we enjoy dinner on a Tamar river cruise.

Friday 8th March 2019
Launceston
Walk through Cataract Gorge (some may want to cross on the chairlift -own expense) then down to Brady’s lookout for morning tea, before heading back into Launceston.
We spend the afternoon visiting Beaconsfield Mine & Heritage Centre, the cultural & historic heart of the Tamar Valley.

Launceston to Devonport
Free morning to explore Launceston. Take the time to visit some of Launceston’s wonderful attractions at your own cost and leisure.
Grab some lunch (own cost) before making our way to Devonport. We join the Bass Highway to the Ashgrove Cheese Factory for tasting and for those that wish, a purchase. Then through Latrobe to Devonport where we re-join the Spirit of Tasmania.

Melbourne to Wagga Wagga
Board the coach for return trip home, arriving in Wagga Wagga in the afternoon.

Cost: $3757.00   per person twin share basis

Extra $933.00 for single supplement, unless prepared to share on the boat

Deposit: $100 required with booking to guarantee your seat
